It makes only a brief appearance, but I'm caught on C-Span asking a question at this morning's AEI conference on the liability issues Hurricane Katrina causes for the insurance industry. The panel, which I found to be both balanced and knowledgeable, included two of my better-informed sources -- the one and only RiskProf, Martin Grace (whom I finally had the good pleasure to meet) and AEI's own Ted Frank, who moderated.
And even if they are a bunch of neo-cons, AEI still has the best cookies anywhere.
The broadcast will be on tonight at 5:26, 8:46, and 11:36 EDT on C-Span II. The webcast is here under the title "Katrina's Liability Implicatons," and requires RealPlayer to view it. I don't make an appearance until about 1:50 minutes into the 2 hour presentation.
